Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 2 wk, at first white, becoming smoke gray (105) or pale luteous (11) toward the center, luteous (12), sienna (8), pale olivaceous gray (120), or straw (46) on concentric zones, velvety, with diffuse margins, with furrows radiating from the center, with clear or amber (47) exudates; reverse smoke gray (105).

Anamorph not found in cultures but found on coremia protruding from the ostioles of young stromata on natural substrates.

Conidiogenous structure Nodulisporium-like, pale brown, smooth.

Conidiogenous cells hyaline, smooth, 12-18 x 1.5-2 mm.

Conidia hyaline, smooth, ellipsoid, 2.8-4 (-5) x 1.5-2 mm.
