Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 4 wk, white, felty, azonate, with diffuse margins; reverse purple slate (102).

Sporulating regions scattered over entire surface of colony, whitish.

Conidiogenous structure Virgariella-like, hyaline to pale brown, finely roughened.

Conidiogenous cells hyaline, smooth to finely roughened, 10-20 x 1.5-2 mm.

Conidia hyaline, smooth, ellipsoid, (4-) 4.5-7 (-7.5) x 2-2.5 mm.
