Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 4 wk, at first whitish, becoming buff (45) to hazel (88), velvety to felty, azonate, wrinkled, with diffuse margins, with rosy vinaceous pigments diffused beyond colonies; reverse dark brick (60).
Sporulating regions scattered over entire surface of colony, very sparse.
Conidiogenous structure Virgariella-like, hyaline, smooth to finely roughened.
Conidiogenous cells hyaline, smooth, 15-22 x 2.5-3 mm.
Conidia hyaline, smooth, ellipsoid, 4.5-5.5 x 3-3.5 mm.
