Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 2 wk, at first amber (47) when aerial hyphae present, becoming umber (9), or at first olivaceous (48) when aerial hyphae absent, becoming smoke gray (105), mixed with luteous (12), velvety, faintly zonate, with diffuse margins, with flesh (37) pigments diffused beyond colonies; reverse gray olivaceous (107).

Sporulating regions scattered over entire surface of colony, pale gray.

Conidiogenous structure Virgariella-like, hyaline, smooth.

Conidiogenous cells hyaline, smooth, 15-25 x 1.5-2 mm.

Conidia hyaline to yellowish, ellipsoid, 4-5 x 2-2.5 mm.
