Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 2 wk, at first white, becoming ochreous (44), isabelline (65), mixed with vinaceous gray (116), velvety, azonate, sectored, with diffuse margins; reverse greenish olivaceous (90).

Sporulating regions on the boundaries of sectors, buff (45).

Conidiogenous structure Virgariella-like, hyaline, finely roughened.

Conidiogenous cells hyaline, smooth, 2.5-3.5 mm broad, 10-25 mm long for those in the first level of conidiogenous regions, 3-7 mm long for those in the additional levels of conidiogenous regions.

Conidia hyaline, smooth, ellipsoid, 5-7.5 x 3.5-4 mm.
