HYPOXYLON DIATRYPEOIDES REHM VAR. POONENSE PANDE The status of the name is uncertain.Hypoxylon diatrypeoides Rehm var. poonense Pande, Bull. Bot. Surv. India 15: 10. 1973; as "poonensis". INDIA: Poona, Begadewadi, 20.6.1971, Pande, A., stems of Flacourtia (AMH 1795, HOLOTYPE of H. diatrypeoides var. poonense). This variety is based on depauperate material with the surface of most stromata ruined. The few intact stromata have become blackish.
