SRI LANKA: Beccari, O. 122, wood (RO [2 pks.], LECTOTYPE [selected here] of H. glebulosum).

Two specimens at RO, nos. 92 and 122, were labeled by Cesati as H. glebulosum. No. 92 is Xylaria anisopleura (Mont.) Fr. No. 122 is a distinct Xylaria with ascospores brown to dark brown, fusoid-inequilateral, usually pinched at ends, 32-36 (-39) x 7-9 mm, with an oblique, less than spore-length germ slit. No. 122 is here selected as the lectotype.
