MAURITIUS: Pouce, 1861, decorticated wood (K, HOLOTYPE of H. irregulare).
Pouzar (1985b) considered this name to be a synonym of Nemania bipapillata
sensu Pouzar. Petrini and Rogers (1986) reported that the type of H. irregulare
has light brown ascospores rather than dark brown ones of B. bipapillata.
