NEMANIA FULIGINOSA S. F. GRAY
The status of the name is uncertain.Nemania fuliginosa S. F. Gray, Nat. Arr. Brit. Pl.: 517 (1821).
The brief diagnosis in Gray (1821) is as follows: "Thallus black; thecae prominent. On rotten branches of oak-trees, on the epidermis." We have not examined material of this fungus. The taxonomic status of this name is uncertain to us.
