The status of the name is uncertain.Numulariola morganii P. Martin, J. S. African Bot. 35: 292. 1969; [nom. inval., ICBN Arts. 36.1 & 37.1]; J. S. African Bot. 42: 83. 1976; as "morgani J. H. Miller ex P. Martin."
Martin (1969b) mentioned this fungus as having a dull yellow pigment in the stromatal interior. We have not seen material of this fungus.
