The status of the name is uncertain.Nummularia suborbicularis (Welw. & Curr.) Sacc., Syll. Fung. I, p. 399. 1882.

Possibly a Biscogniauxia. The type was not located at K. This fungus was described (in Saccardo, 1882a) as having a whitish stromatal interior, having margins "inverso et crassescente", having prominent papillate ostioles, and having blackish brown ascospores, 12-13 mm long.
