The cited specimen at UPS is Lopadostoma gastrinum (Fr.: Fr.) Traverso. However, the descriptions in Persoon (1801), Fries (1823), and Nitschke (1867) suggest a Biscogniauxia taxon. The Schweinitz specimen at PH is sterile.
