HYPOXYLON COLLABENS THEISS. The status of the name is uncertain.Hypoxylon collabens Theiss., Ann. Mycol. 7: 346. 1908; non Mont., 1840; [nom. rejic., ICBN Art. 64.1]. The type appears to be missing. Miller (1961) listed this name as a possible synonym of H. sclerophaeum var. macrospora J. H. Miller which is considered to be a synonym of H. placentiforme Berk. & M. A. Curtis in this study.
