HYPOXYLON JAVANICUM (ZIPP. & Lév.) SACC.

The status of the name is uncertain.

Hypoxylon javanicum (Zipp. & Lév.) Sacc., Syll. Fung. I, p. 365. 1882.

º Sphaeria javanica Zipp. & Lév., Ann. Sci. Nat. Bot., sér. III, 3: 46. 1845.

This fungus was described as having a white stromatal interior. Therefore, it is probably not a Hypoxylon. We were unable to locate the type at K or PC.
