Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 3 wk, at first whitish, becoming straw (46) and then hazel (88), velvety, azonate, sectored, with diffuse margins; reverse uncolored.
Sporulating regions in patches, blackish.
Conidiogenous structure, conidiogenous cells, and conidia as described and illustrated by Petrini and Candoussau (1983) [as H. moravicum], Petrini and Petrini (1985) [as H. moravicum], and Petrini and Müller (1986) [as H. moravicum].
