NOTES

Although the gross morphologies of B. cinereolilacina and B. repanda are quite different, each fungus has a germ slit on both sides of the ascospore and a reduced amount of carbonaceous tissue encasing the individual ostiole. Our collection data for B. cinereolilacina suggests a strong association with Tilia spp.
