Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 4-6 wk, at first white, becoming fulvous (43) toward the center, velvety, faintly zonate, with diffuse margins, with umber (9) pigments under the colony and rose vinaceous (58) pigments diffusing beyond colonies; reverse dull green (70).
Sporulating regions at the periphery of colony, mononematous or synnematous, orange.
Conidiogenous structure Nodulisporium-like, yellowish, coarsely roughened.
Conidiogenous cells hyaline, roughened, 8-17 x 2-3 mm.
Conidia hyaline, smooth, ellipsoid, 3-4 (-4.5) x 2-3 mm.
