Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 4 wk, at first white, becoming vinaceous buff (86) toward the center, velvety to felty, azonate, with diffuse margins and radiate furrows from the center; reverse uncolored.

Sporulating regions scattered over entire surface of colony, smoke gray (105).

Conidiogenous structure Virgariella-like, hyaline to yellowish, coarsely roughened.

Conidiogenous cells hyaline, roughened, 18-35 x 2-3 mm.

Conidia hyaline, smooth, subglobose to ellipsoid, 4-5 x (2.5-) 3-4 mm.
