Colonies on 2% Difco oatmeal agar at ca. 20C and under 12 h fluorescent light reaching the edge of 9 cm Petri dish in 1 wk, at first white, felty, azonate, with diffuse and ropy margins, becoming unevenly mixing with citrine (13) and pure yellow (14). Reverse citrine (13) or greenish olivaceous (90), becoming olivaceous black (108).
Sporulating regions, conidiogenous structure, conidiophores, conidiogenous cells, and conidia are much as those of the typical variety.
