º Nummularia baileyi Berk. & Broome ex Cooke, Grevillea 12: 6. 1883.

Stromata raised-discoid, with concave surface, 4-5 mm diam x 1.5 mm thick, with dark brown, distinct raised margins originating from outer dehiscing layer; mature surface blackish; tissue immediately beneath surface and between perithecia undetermined; tissue beneath perithecia composed largely of host tissue; tissue of margins 0.2 mm thick, carbonaceous, extending downwards into substrate.

Perithecia tubular, 0.1-0.3 mm diam x 1 mm high.

Ostioles higher than stromatal surface, with openings papillate to coarsely papillate.

Asci not observed.

Ascospores dark brown, unicellular, subglobose to ellipsoid, equilateral, with broadly to, infrequently, narrowly rounded ends, smooth, 14-16.5 x 9.5-11.5 mm, with straight germ slit spore-length.
