Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 3 wk, at first whitish, becoming umber (9), velvety to felty, azonate, with diffuse margins, with honey (64) pigments diffused beyond colonies; reverse umber (9).

Sporulating regions scattered over entire surface of colony, sparse.

Conidiogenous structure Virgariella-like, hyaline, smooth to finely roughened.

Conidiogenous cells hyaline, smooth, 15-35 x 2.5-3.5 mm.

Conidia hyaline, finely roughened, ellipsoid, 4-6 x 2.5-3.5 mm.
