Colonies on OA covering Petri dish in 2-3 wk, at first whitish to yellowish, becoming hazel (88) to umber (9), velvety to felty, azonate, with diffuse margins; reverse sienna (8) to blackish brown.

Sporulating regions scattered over entire surface of colony, grayish sepia (106).

Conidiogenous structure Virgariella-like, hyaline to yellowish, coarsely roughened.

Conidiogenous cells hyaline, roughened, 16-30 x 2-2.5 mm.

Conidia hyaline, smooth, ellipsoid, 4-8 x 2-3 mm.
