Kretzschmaria cetrarioides (Welw. & Curr.) Sacc.

NOTES

The flattened branching stromatal stipes certainly led Welwitsch and Currey to name this fungus after the lichen genus Cetraria Ach. and Rick to name it K. lichenoides. The umboes borne on the upper part of stromata indicate that K. cetrarioides has a synnematous anamorph. Also see NOTES on K. micropus.
