Colonies on 2% Difco oatmeal agar at ca. 20¢XC and under 12 h fluorescent light reaching the edge of 9 cm Petri dish in 6-8 weeks, white, appressed, zonate, with diffuse margins, becoming Ochreous (44). Reverse uncolored. Sporulating regions in patches, Greenish Olivaceous (90) or Olivaceous (48). Conidiophores erect, dichotomously branched, without a well-defined main axis, 2-2.5 µm broad at base, pale brown, smooth. Conidiogenous cells proliferating indeterminately, cylindrical, geniculate, 2-2.5 µm broad, hyaline, smooth-walled, bearing terminal and lateral poroid conidial secession scars 0.5 µm diam. Conidia produced holoblastically in sympodial sequence. Conidia hyaline (olivaceous collectively), smooth, subglobose to ellipsoidal, 3-4.5 x 2.5-3 µm, with flattened base indicating former point of attachment to conidiogenous cell.
